Great ears !!
Good-Ears Stations with Modest Antennas
(Last updated on Sep. 30, 2018)
If you are using Google Chrome to view this page, it may be better to zoom out to "zoom 80%".
Many of the stations I worked with 500 milliwatts and dipole antennas were using a big antenna(s) on a high tower(s).
But not all the stations were such "big guns".
Surprisingly, using modest antennas the following stations successfully received my very weak signals to make our QSOs.
I am grateful to these great-ears stations.
My output power: 500 milliwatts, unless otherwise indicated.
My antenna: Dipoles mounted on my apartment balcony
Mode: CW

On high HF bands,
A "modest antenna" herein means
a single element antenna, e.g., a dipole, vertical, loop, etc.;
and
a 2 element antenna, e.g., a 2 element yagi, HB9CV, quad, etc.
.....................................................................................
Note: This list contains some QSOs made using my previous callsign.
Note: This list does NOT contain QSOs with Oceania stations and
East-Asia stations.
